It's so brave of ou to make something like this with a pen and a marker - I'd be too nervous to even try. I guess thats what separates the levels of artistry out there...
I also love the creativity you put into it. You must have put a lot of effort into this, hm?

First, thanks! (: to answer your question, it was hard to come up with stuff to fill the spaces, especially at the end. If you look, you can see I repeated some things to cheat (;
Also, I penciled out the outline of the hand first, and planned out each piece in my head first, so there was a lot more of just sitting and staring at the page than drawing (;
